With cyber threats on the rise, it’s important to stay alert when it comes to your privacy and security.
Here’s what you can do to help protect yourself from cyber-threats:
- Take advantage of MemberDirect Alerts. Its good practice to get alerts that advise you when your online banking is accessed, when payees or Interac e-Transfer® recipients are added, and when your username is locked out.
- Be vigilant! These new threats could mean that actual humans, not just bots, are learning about how online banking works and trying to figure out what back-end systems FI’s have. Be on the lookout for suspicious activities within your account.
As always, Crosstown Civic is committed to mitigating cyber-crime risks. We will keep members informed should any specific threats or breaches occur.
