That’s what you can expect from the new Access Credit Union, officially formed on January 1, 2020 with the official merger of Crosstown Civic Credit Union and Access Credit Union. Our shared values and dedicated approach to member experience is part of what made this merger such a good fit.

Going forward, the new Access Credit Union will continue to keep members at the centre of everything we do by communicating, building relationships, and being where they need us to be.

Adopting a fresh new look

The excitement of our 2021 integration will be expressed visually as we transition to our fresh new brand look. In October 2020, we unveiled our new Access Credit Union brand and brand promise—to be Where you need us to be—and now we are beginning to adopt the fresh new look wherever you see us, beginning in January 2021 with updating our 26-branch network and community space signage.

Our transition to the new look will happen gradually, from the inside out, and will affect member assets last. This means you may continue to see the existing logos from each legacy credit union until the metamorphosis is complete. During this time, all members can continue using your existing cheques, debit cards, and Collabria credit cards with no disruption.

Integration 2021: What you need to know

In spring 2021, we’ll fully integrate operations and banking systems to unify our website, banking experience, and 26-branch network. 

In the meantime, members can continue to bank using their respective online banking websites and mobile apps. It’s also business as usual for cheques, debit cards, pre-authorized payments, investments, loans, and mortgages.
